The William Dalton Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Ashland, Maine, established in 2024.
Our mission is to collect, preserve, and share the stories, artifacts, photographs, and documents that capture the heritage of the Ashland region for generations to come.
We welcome new members, volunteers, and donations of historical materials. Whether you have family photographs, documents, or artifacts to share — or simply a love of local history — there is a place for you in the Society.
